We currently haveÌýan opportunity for the right person to undertake a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship.ÌýÌý
The successful candidate will beÌýrequired to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.Ìý
In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:Ìý
- Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipmentÌý
- Manual and CNC machine operationÌý
- Assisting with root cause analysis investigationsÌý
- Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standardsÌý
- Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutionsÌý
- ​Preparing repair work quotations, associated documentation and scheduling of jobs for repair
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:Ìý
- A genuine desire to become a qualifiedÌýengineeringÌýtradespersonÌý
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailÌý
- Self-motivationÌýwith a positive work ethicÌý
- Commitment to on and off the job trainingÌý
- A willingness to learn and work within a team environmentÌý
- Strong commitment to OHSÌý
- ​Drivers licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred but not essential
