You will work along with qualified and skilled painters, where you will gain valuable hands-on experience,Ìýmentoring and support throughout your apprenticeship.
Duties will involve: Ìý
- Carry out measurements and calculations.Ìý
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.Ìý
- Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.Ìý
- Handle painting and decorating materials.Ìý
- Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.Ìý
- Remove and replace doors and door and window components.Ìý
- Prepare surfaces for painting.Ìý
- Apply paint by brush and roller.Ìý
- Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.Ìý
- Masking up windows and vanity's, as well many other objects to prefect from paint or dust getting over it.Ìý
