Qualifications & experience

• Any years’ experience in the Landscaping/gardening industry is a bonus
• Current drivers’ licence
• Experience operating range of commercial gardening equipment (eg Ride on Mowers, push mowers, whipper snippers, edgers etc) is a bonus
• Ability to listen to instructions and carry out work as instructed
• Encourage other team members to work effectively together.
• Good time management and communication skills
• The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
• A desire to provide a high quality commercial Landscape Maintenance / gardening service

Tasks & responsibilities

• Working on site on various landscaping jobs around Sydney learning your trade
• 1 day a week TAFE course to qualify as Cert III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture
• Regularly liaising with your Manager/Supervisor.
• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
• Role is site/run based, working with the team to ensure targets are met.
• Management of a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, from mowing, whipper snipping, hedging etc.
