About the Company:

Our client is seeking a dedicated 1st Year Cabinet Maker Apprentice to join their team in Reservoir. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop foundational skills in cabinet making by assisting in the assembly and installation of flat-pack kitchens, custom joinery, and furniture making. This hands-on role includes both on-site (70%) and custom work (30%), providing a comprehensive experience in both standard and custom joinery.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in

  • Assist in the assembly and installation of flat-pack kitchens, joinery, and related hardware.
  • Pick up and deliver stock items as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Safely remove existing kitchens to prepare for installation.
  • Be open to feedback, continuing to learn and develop through ongoing training.
  • Properly maintain and use safety equipment, hand, and power tools.
  • Install cabinets, pull-out functions, hardware (hinges, handles, catches, drawers) per safety and manufacturer guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong focus on safety, with a willingness to continue training.
  • Team-oriented and motivated to build skills in cabinet making.
  • Successfully pass a National Police Check
  • Hold a valid drivers license and have a reliable car
