A western suburbs business is looking for more workers, after reaping the benefits of Workforce Australia (WFA) services offered by local provider 蜜桔直播.

Total Window Concepts has employed four workers via the WFA program, and is looking to fill another ten vacancies, as the Hoppers Crossing business looks to expand its鈥 operations.

Head of Human Resources, Gabriel Pratap, said the business was always looking to give disadvantaged workers an opportunity.

鈥淲e're all about giving someone a second chance and an opportunity to change their life鈥, Mr Pratap said.

鈥淥ur business enrols workers into a Certificate III in Windows and Manufacturing to get them the qualifications they need, while they get real hands-on experience within the workplace鈥.

蜜桔直播 began WFA operations at five locations in the western suburbs on 1 July last year, providing individual support for disadvantaged job seekers and connections to thousands of businesses right across the area.

Total Window Concepts was founded in 1997 and has grown to become Australia鈥檚 largest wholesale manufacturer of custom-made window furnishings.

WFA participant Thomas Argiris was hired after a short break from the workforce.

鈥淚鈥檝e been here for only five months and am already training new employees. I鈥檓 loving every second of it鈥, Mr Argiris said.

鈥淚'm grateful for the help 蜜桔直播 gave me. It鈥檚 fantastic to be working full time with a company gives struggling young people like me, a chance鈥.

蜜桔直播, which also provides employment services for young Australians on the Gold Coast, has trained, or helped place into work, more than 7,000 participants across the two regions in the past 18 months.
