We also know it can be especially difficult for victims of domestic violence who may need to find work or change jobs quickly following separation from a violent partner.
That’s where our Empowering Career Options programÌýcomes in
Empowering Career Options is a programÌýaimed at improving the skills, employment opportunities and social inclusion for victims of domestic violence.
Available in Brisbane and Adelaide, the programÌýprovides end-to-end support to eligible participants affected by domestic violence and will assist them in successfully gaining a nationally accredited qualification and entering sustainable employment.

TitleEmpowering Career Options – Queensland
Empowering Career Options is proudly funded by the Queensland Government under its Skilling Queenslanders for Work scheme and is available to participants in the Brisbane metro area.
Participants will complete a Certificate III in Business Administration over a 14-week period, with no out-of-pocket expenses! They will gain the confidence and skills to find sustainable employment, while undertaking a work experience placement.

TitleEmpowering Career Options – South Australia
Empowering Career Options is proudly funded by the South Australian Government and is available to participants based in the Adelaide metro area. Over 14 weeks, participants will complete units of competency for a Certificate III in Business Administration – with no out-of-pocket expenses!
They will gain valuable skills and the confidence to gain sustainable employment, while undertaking a work experience placement.
Empowering Career Options has been created specifically to assist victims of domestic violence. It is available to participants:
- 15 years and over;
- no longer attending school;
- and an Australian citizen, permanent resident, temporary resident (on the pathway to permanent residency), or a New Zealand citizen.
