We are looking for a 1st year Apprentice Chef to join our team.Ìý
You will need to be passionate about food, career driven and a team player, but most importantly a desire to learn your craft.ÌýÌý
Training as an apprentice chef covers basic culinary skills, knife skills, knowledge of ingredients, use of commercial equipment and kitchen procedures.Ìý
This position would suit a recent school leaver who is looking to start their apprenticeship in January 2025.
Your main duties include but not limited to:Ìý
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of meals.Ìý
- Training to learn procedures and duties in food preparation.Ìý
- Working under the supervision of a passionate team of Chefs.Ìý
- Operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and stoves.Ìý
- ServingÌýfood when required.Ìý
- Kitchen cleaning, such as dish washing and equipment cleaning, sanitation.Ìý
- Assists in other areas of food preparation and storage.Ìý

- Be punctual & reliable.Ìý
- Have flexibility to work different shifts.Ìý
- Be well presented and respectful
- As a 1st year apprentice you will be working Monday- Friday day shifts to learn your skills
