Termico is offering an opportunity for those interested in becoming a Certified Pest Control Technician.As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for conducting pest inspections and treatments to new buildings, residential and commercial properties, in accordance with Regulatory Standards and company policy & procedures.

Termico Pest Management is part of the Termico Group, an independent, Western Australian owned company carrying out a wide variety of specialised home and building services such as Pest Management & Insulation in building and domestic industries, Solar Electricity, Bushfire Assessment and Private Certification of Design Compliance . The Termico group was established in 1996 and services the Perth metropolitan as well as selected regional areas.

Our Traineeship

Termico provides traineeships, widely recognised as the best in the industry , that combines on-the job training with in-house classroom tuition. The Course works to obtain a Cert III in Pest Management and is delivered in our own dedicated training room by our own dedicated training manager who will guide you every step of the way. The traineeship is recognised by TAFE & over seen by Apprenti Centre to ensure a nationally recognised qualification.

Fully supervised training is provided initially, while learners progress to a Provisional License and eventually to a full license issued by the Pesticide Safety Division of the Heath Dept. Ongoing training duration of about 12-14 months is expected to be qualified for a full Cert III - Pest Management Technician License.

NP: Inviting applicants from all suburbs in Perth . Although you would be closely interacting with our Office in Malaga , coming to the office is not a daily requirement.

A successful candidate will have/be :

  • CurrentWest Australian manual driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal &communication skills
  • Punctual & Reliable
  • Able to work efficiently unsupervised
  • Health and Safety Conscious
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Basic IT skills
  • Physically fit and able to work insubfloors and roof spaces
  • Consent to take a Pre-Employment Medical, Police Clearance & provide Work References
  • Ability to commit to completing the Cert III
