About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:
- Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Gain essential skills for a rewarding career in the HVAC industry.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure all work is completed safely and effectively.
What we're looking for:
- Electrical Knowledge: At least two years of hands-on experience with residential and air con electrical systems would be an advantage
- Mechanical Proficiency: Strong knowledge in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics, with practical application experience.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
- Preventative Maintenance: Experience performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of air conditioning units.
- Must have a valid White Card or will need to obtain one.
